Sinus Pressure

How can i relieve sinus pressure from my head?

So i’m just recovering from a bad cold. But i still have unequal pressure in my right ear (the kind of feeling like when you’re on a plane). so yesterday i tried plugging my nose and blowing up my cheeks to pop it. It kind of worked but it made my forehead like right above the spot in between my eye brows hurt. It still hurts today. What did i do? How can i fix it? Is it just a sinus pressure headache?

You should try taking a warm shower/ bath.

You can’t do things like that. Although it may have sounded like a great idea it really wasn’t. Doing this might have caused pressure to back the sinus cavity’s up. There’s cartilage up there that also leads into the ears. This is why you have this pain. You need to see an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor asap. They’ll be able to see into the eardrum and up the nose too. I’m not sure that you can help this at home. You can try sitting in the bathroom with it full of steam from the hot water. Just sit in there with it on full blast and breathe it in. If anything will help this is it. The steam will break any blockage up if it is just from mucus. Please call the doctors first thing Monday, and if the pain doesn’t stop or gets worse please have someone drive you to the ER. Good luck and God Bless
